All beds are comfortably fitted with highest grade mattresses and linens. The laundry is also contained in this building which was constructed in November 1993.

The other building is the original home which was built in 1956 and converted in 1992. We started operating in December 1993 and have since enjoyed an excellent return with an average bed occupancy of around 70%. Due to health reasons, we are now offering this sale. Our guests are mostly German tourists although the rest of Europe to include British, French and Italian are now also discovering Namibia as a wonderful tourist destination. At this time, we are currently booked to October of this year.

Our hotel has been awarded Merit Awards for the 1994/95 and 1996/97 seasons. We are especially proud of the 1996/97 award of the prestigious "Best Hotel Garni" in Namibia! We are listed and recommended in most German Tour Guides as well as in many other European Guides.

We will naturally provide full details of our operation to seriously interested buyers. All property and equipment is included in the sale price.

  • Short Profile on Namibia:
It is a vast 824,268 square kilometers with a population of only 1.4 million. It has a dry climate typical of a semi desert where droughts are a regular occurrence. Namibia is the youngest, independent country in Africa having achieved its independence on March 21, l990. It is governed by a multi-party Parliament and has a democratic constitution which is highly regarded by the international community.

The mainstays of Namibia's economy are mining, agriculture and fishing while tourism is the fastest expanding industry. The free market economy and the Government's commitment to promoting free enterprise make this a most favorable investment climate. The country has an excellent infrastructure, one of the most advanced telecommunications systems in Africa and the highest quality medical services.

Because of its German Colonial past, Namibia still has a strong German 'atmosphere', but since independence, English is the official language. The local currency, the Namibian Dollar, is linked to and has the same value as the South African Rand (R) which is also legal tender in Namibia.

Asking price is 4,000,000 (Four million Namibia Dollars)
(Approximately $810,000 (Eight hundred, ten thousand US Dollars at today's exchange rate)
