The complex of 5 vacation houses is located in Selva di Fasano on the Salentine Peninsula, 31 miles south of Bari, Italy. (This is the southwestern side of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea.) They are situated on terraced land on the side of a hill, 1,345 feet above sea level, planted with a variety of Mediterranean flowering shrubbery and trees typical to the area. They overlook a plain of ancient olive trees that extend to the shores of the Adriatic about 3.6 miles away. The view of the plain and sea is unobstructed.
Comprising 8,150 square feet in total, the houses were designed as summer homes for the members of an extended family. There are five units that are self-contained with central air conditioning, fireplaces, bedrooms, living/dining rooms, kitchens, baths and storage. In total, there are 9 bedrooms, 7 living/dining rooms, 7 kitchens, and 8 baths. There are 9 fireplaces and a large walk-in grill/oven separate from the buildings. In addition there is sixth unit that serves as a study. It has one room and a bath but no kitchen. There is a small garage. There are ample driveways, parking places and flagstoned paths and stairways between the houses. The driveways are accessed through automated gates. The furnishings of the houses, also included in the sale price, are the traditional country furniture of the area.

The style of architecture of the exterior of the houses is that of the local "trulli" with cone-shaped roofs and thick stone walls painted in the traditional colors of white, pinkish red and Mediterranean blue. All of the houses have ample terraces and verandas that overlook the plain of olive trees and the Adriatic Sea. Zoning regulations forbid any building that will obstruct the views. The houses have been constructed with utmost care to faithfully detail the traditional, country architecture of the area. The interiors are modern with modern services and appliances.
